As of the 1 March 2022 we enter a new season with the full quota of 45 members. We also have anglers registered on our waiting list.

Only barbless hooks (true barbless or suppressed barbs) can be used whether you catch and release or catch and kill. Similarly a 6lb leader/tippet minimum should be used at all times. 

The maximum catch is 4 fish killed per week. However, it is recommended that no more than two fish be killed per day within the weekly limit.

Catch and Release is encouraged, using barbless/de-barbed hooks, A maximum of 10 fish can be caught and released per visit.

Full season Individual Memberships cost £600 for a year - outstanding value when you can fish all day, every day of the year, take home up to 4 fish per week and catch and release 10 fish per day in a lovely setting for the equivalent of £11.50 a week.

Family Memberships cost is £700 a year. This allows your partner and children under 18 years of age to come and fish with you. Equivalent to £13.50 per week to keep them all entertained.

We do expect our Members to contribute time and labour to help with maintenance/conditions at the lake. This could be weed removal or keeping the platforms clean or simply a "soft" job like tea making for the volunteers. We believe that 12 man hours during the course of a year long season is not too much to ask.  

That's it: A full year's fly fishing - yours with no hidden extras. 

Each full Member can invite 5 guests a year at no charge.

All our Members are friendly and approachable and will be pleased to help and share tips with anyone new to the sport.
